CEGE4111: CADD and Coordinate Geometry Applications

This course provides an introduction to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software applications. Students complete all tasks to design two-lane roadways and subdivision using civil engineering design software, including topography, plan/profile, contours, cross sections, and quantity calculations. Instruction in coordinate geometry includes how various data files are obtained, and can be used to create surfaces for design.
